You can stop NYSC redeployment or relocation either when it’s still in processing and also after it has been approved.

Below is best guide to cancel your relocation;
If you are still in NYSC Orientation camp at the time you want to cancel your relocation, meet your platoon officer, he will guide you on what to do. Or write a latter of request and submit to the NYSC relocation officer.
If you are no longer in the NYSC Orientation, follow the guide below to cancel your relocation;
- Think very well if you are sure to cancel your relocation.
- Write a latter of request, address it to NYSC State Coordinator in your present state of service.
- Submit the letter to your LGI, he will help you to submit at NYSC state secretariat, or go direct to the NYSC secretariat by yourself.
- Continue your regular activities in your present state of service.
NOTE: Make sure that NYSC cancel the relocation because it may ruin your service year if you continue service without the cancellation. It is also possible to apply for relocation more than once.
